Basically, this post is the blend of past Nitie interview experience and expected questions that may be asked:-
1. Very first questions Tell me about yourself- take it as an opportunity because it is a well-known question that will make a long-lasting impression on the panel members.
As my suggestion: First frame this question very well and then practice it number of times.
For online interviews practice it, recording videos that will bring naturality.
2. Few questions related to native place and hobbies
3. If you are fresher then prepare well your final year project and summer training (be crisp and clear, don’t be descriptive)
4. Few technical terms related to your project or summer internship part
5. Then a few questions related to your project, summer internship & extra-curricular activities in the following format:
a) Challenges faced
b) How you dealt with them
c) Your learnings, Role & contributions
6. Like if you have mentioned placement coordinator then go through the Roles & responsibilities of that position of responsibility
7. Few basic HR questions:
a. Why NITIE
b. why management
c. why not PSUs
d. why not management from other premium institutes
e. what are your expectations from NITIE
f. where are u seeing urself after NITIE
g. where are u seeing urself 5years down the line
h. strength and weakness (don’t tell your weakness until asked, weakness
should be temporary)
i. go through about NITIE
j. why the given preference only?
k. go through the course structure
l. one can expect a few tricky questions like what if not selected
8. efficiency v/s effectiveness
9. go through Industrial engineering subject; inventory and EOQ, MRP, ERP, BOM, PERT, CPM, critical path, critical time (only for those who were having industrial engineering subject in their B.tech/gate)
10. Technical subject questions will be very easy which a Gate qualified can answer easily
11. Basics about What is *Supply Chain Management*

1. You must be through with your application form (can ask anything from that). Go through your application form 5 to 6 times.
2. Prepare 1.5 to 2 min of your introduction (if you have work experience, say first)
3. Prepare some Industrial engineering basic and important topics.
4. Prepare few topics of Operation Research and Supply chain management.
5. Read business newspaper daily (should have knowledge of current affairs atleast for last 3 to 4 months).
6. You should know about the place you belong to, like for what it is famous?
7. If you have year gap, prepare a valid reason for the same.
8. Prepare well your academic project and work experience project (if any)
9. Prepare 2 to 3 subject thoroughly (they can ask about your favorite subject)
This will be sufficient if you do it seriously.
