2. Which subjects you have prepared? – Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics , Heat transfer.
3. Draw Braton cycle T – S diagram. Drawn. Explain the processes you have shown in graph. If compressor process is not isentropic for any reason, how will you draw on diagram ? Write second law efficiency for compressor. If I give you compressor ratio, can u write efficiency in terms of pressure ratio? I want to estimate temperature after compression when it is not isentropic ,how will you find it?
4. Assume Solar collector tube , fluid temperature raises due to solar radiation , assume Tw – wall temperature and T1 inlet fluid temperature ,draw it.
5. What is entrance length ? Draw velocity profile. What happens after entrance length over ? Draw velocity profile. Can you show Thermal boundary layer and show temperature profile in entrance length and fully developed region.
In which region heat transfer will be higher ? What is the reason? Explain with equation.
